Over the past couple weeks, a similar photo has been the second most engaged image showing a Premier League club shirt sponsor on social media, as picked up by our image and brand recognition crawlers.
The symmetry of the image and the fact that it is celebrating Rooney’s hat-trick against Club Brugge, all add up to the perfect promotional image for players, club and club sponsor.
Even though Chevrolet is not that prominent – our visual recognition technology had no problem picking it up – it’s, in our view, an ideal image for all concerned.
